FFM to Indian Customs

  • TRAXON India Support Services has developed the service, for Carriers to comply with the new Customs regulations (Sec. 30 of Custom act 1962) effective from 1st May 2004 of electronically providing Import General Manifest prior to arrival of the vessel or aircraft. Further, effective 1st June 2006, it is mandatory for the carrier to also file FHL (House Airway bill Data) as per directives of the Government of India, notified vide letter dated 31st May 2006, VIII (IFO)/ CUS/13/ 03/ 06.

  • The Airline provides electronic FFM to TRAXON India Support Services at its TYPE B / VPN / FTP address. The FFM may be inclusive of FHL Data. The FFM is subsequently electronically processed into the format as desired by Indian Customs and is transmitted into ICES (Indian Customs EDI System) through the Customs Gateway. The electronic acknowledgement then received is transmitted to the local Airline Office.

  • TRAXON India Support Services also undertakes the filing of Domestic Manifest Data on behalf of the carrier at the Gateway port for transshipped Cargo.
