Canada Customs ACI

With CUSTOMS NOTICE 630, Ottawa, December 1, 2005, Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) has deferred the implementation deadline of Phase 2 of Advance Commercial Information (ACI) to June 26, 2006.

Airlines and forwarding agents have until this date to fully comply with the new regulations. By then all air carriers and forwarders must be reporting 100% electronically and all data must be submitted and approved by the CBSA 4 hours prior to arrival in Canada.

However importers are free to submit their Advance Commercial Information to CBSA as soon as they like. Why not take advantage of the time left to make sure that your company meets the requirements for successful implementation of ACI. TRAXON is here to help you with various solutions options for you to choose from.

US Customs

The New US Security Regulations for Air Shipments to US

Based on market demand, TRAXON has, for the time being, decided to concentrate on one solution for US Customs. With this solution, the required data will be sent via TRAXON to the airlines. The airlines will use their own system to transfer the data to Air AMS.
